Biography

Yao Min, Chief Physician, PhD, Doctoral Supervisor, Researcher at the Institute of Burn Research, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and Adjunct Professor at Harvard Medical School. She specializes in the treatment of extensive burns and complex, difficult-to-heal wounds. She was the first in China to initiate fractional laser treatment for scars; she is skilled in medical aesthetic techniques such as laser pigmentation removal, tattoo removal, and injectable wrinkle reduction. Her research focuses on wound healing, tissue repair, and laser medicine.

Research achievements: She has led research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the American Laser Surgery Society Foundation, and others.
